I just finished this book, it was incredible, I really thought that ol' Raif would be reduced to something less than human, and I reckon that although the Ash story wasn't long or very dramatic the ending left me with my mouth open, the Raina, Angus, Effie, Bram and Vaylo stories left me wanting for more and wishing that the next book come out soon.
Another thing I really like about this series and J V Jones writing style is the fact that the heroes are not inmune, and really serious stuff happen to them. I really recommend this series to anyone looking for mature fantasy and realistic characters.

P.D. Excuse my grammar english is my second language. :P
